William Vespasian Foster ist ein buntgefärbter Bär mit einem Herz, das im Takt der Wellen schlägt. Surfen wurde für ihn mehr als nur ein Hobby – es wurde eine Lebensart. Geboren in einem alten Leuchtturm, der zu einem gemütlichen Wohnraum umgebaut wurde, wuchs William mit dem Klang von Möwen, Wind und Brandung auf.
Der Leuchtturm, einst sturmumtost und leerstehend, wurde von einer kleinen, lebensfrohen Gemeinschaft wieder zum Leben erweckt – mit Hängematten, Solarlampen und dem besten Blick auf den Horizont. Dort lernte William früh, was es heißt, die Gezeiten zu lesen und den Ozean zu respektieren. Später im Leben als Bär stand er mit wachsender Neugier auf der Klippe, das Surfbrett unter der Pranke, bereit, das große Wasser zu erobern.
William Vespasian Foster is a colourful bear with a heart that beats to the rhythm of the waves. Surfing became more than just a hobby for him – it became a way of life. Born in an old lighthouse that was converted into a cosy living space, William grew up to the sound of seagulls, wind and surf.
The lighthouse, once storm-tossed and empty, was brought back to life by a small, lively community – with hammocks, solar lamps and the best view of the horizon. There, William learned early on what it means to read the tides and respect the ocean. Later in life as a bear, he stood on the cliff with growing curiosity, the surfboard under his paw, ready to conquer the great water.
